09-10 NBA Season is getting underway tonight.
After waiting a long while after the Finals where Lakers had won the championship, they still are the biggest favorites to win this year.
We had the Europeans this summer and will have the Worlds in Istanbul next year in August at which I will participate as a volunteer.
NBA stars like LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and Amaré Stoudemire have expiring contracts and most likely they will have some room in the season recap in June.
All these also will affect the "Redeem Team" in 2010. If these players will not have their contract problems solved, either they won't be a part of the team or they will not be able to concentrate on the tournament fully, which also is highly necessary for the USA Basketball not to go home without a trophy third time in a row.

After debating about this a serious amount of time, I have decided to start a blog in English.
I have been blogging in my native, Turkish, for about two and a half years and I have written sports semi-pro in a local newspaper.
